Honestly, I am not seeing this. I work as an election judge and the system is so complicated as to defy one political party's will by fiat. One may scream "voter fraud" but it's very difficult to establish that claim. And it seldom proves true in court.

I believe there is a reason why this has been so slow moving. There are a lot of powerful men out there who don't want themselves revealed. They don't want the negative press of having their names associated with (possibly) sexually abusing underage girls. Whatever it takes for cover. That is it.

What about this? I tend not to subscribe to conspiracy theories but this whole mess really smacks of one man's attempt to deflect a story of rape of underage girls to "violence in our cities". There are powerful men out there who believe they can use their power to satisfy their (sexual urges).

Oh, puhleeze. Attaboy, Williams, knowing just how to react to an unknown chemical attack, after the fact. This is the sort of thing military personnel are trained for, not private citizens. Shall we again blame the victim for not being adequately on top of protocol when they are assaulted? Really?

I dunno. I've been lucky never to have been attacked with an unknown chemical agent. The fact that Rep. Omar didn't immediately run for the showers or disrobe or SOMEthing is somehow obvious proof that this attack was staged. I'd stand there too in confusion as to what just occurred.

I fear that you've answered your own question. Perhaps there are indeed decent people in the GOP caucus. However, they seem to be too frightened to proffer a spine. And that is not good optics for political "leaders".

One more reason I am so proud of our MN Sec. of State, Steve Simon. I paraphrase, so Mr. Secretary, please correct. He has told Big Federal Daddy that, no you may not have MN voter role information. If you persist in demanding, I will persist in telling you to pound sand.

I cannot disagree with Premier Holt. We Americans should not be trusted, as we, collectively have elected this awful bunch of fools. My hope is that we may, in a near day attain rapprochement with (and forgiveness from) our Canadian neighbors.

In this case the Mayor was correct. ICE bungled this whole operation. A woman got killed precisely because she didn't obey conflicting orders.
Could have taken her license plate and chased her afterward.

The Minneapolis/St. Paul urban area is home to a large population of Hmong and Somali citizens. (Yes, citizens.) These are our neighbors and friends. Does anyone think that our Twin Cities will not be bettered by inclusion of the different cultural practices which they bring?

The firearm was available. That is why it was used instead of a less lethal resource. From all the video I have seen of this heart-breaking incident, the shooter was pissed off (perhaps because he wasn't being obeyed) and drawing and using his weapon was his default response. Just. Plain. Wrong.

I am so proud of my fellow Minneapolitans for standing up to thuggery like this. I call upon our elected officials to take decisive action---which is more than just speaking into a microphone. What will you do for us, Mayor, Chief, Governor, Senators, Congressional representatives?
