After slandering Expedition 33 as not even the best JRPG-inspired game to come out this year I'm now a couple hours into it, and I'm liking it so far. I know I haven't sunk my teeth into it yet, but the gommage cutscene has left a really good impression in me.

Think I'll need to finish it to have a solid opinion of it, but so far a lot of it gameplay-wise feels like it's trying to smoothen, and refine what Post Void did, but honestly the roughness, and perplexity of playing Post Void is what makes it such a stand out shooter to me.

NGL Main reason I haven't picked up Mullet Madjack until now is because I was really disappointed when I realized the protag wasn't a butch lesbian.

"Alright here's what gonna happen. You're going to choose a Bulbasaur as your starter. They're strong against the first three gyms. Next your gonna want to catch a second Pokémon I'd recommend a Pidgey they're good against the fourth gym, but any Pokémon will do."

Honestly if you don't want to read all of Chainsaw Man until it's finished part 1 is a complete enough that you can just read all of that, and stop there for now. If you want something fully self-contained Fujimoto's oneshot Goodbye Eri is both amazing, and I would consider him at his most distilled

Will say I haven't really bounced back from getting laid off, and needing to get two tooth extractions because I have too many permanent baby teeth, but hey I think I three stooges syndrome my way into comfy mental health after losing myself for a few months.
