The most egregious example will always be translations obsessed with adapting Japanese honorifics which almost always ends up with something that reads really clunkily, but the only example I have is the fan translation of the last chapters of forbidden scrollery translating "-chan" as "Little"

theres so many like cliches in writing that i recognize as being something coming from english translations of japanese but i cannot prove them without sounding insane
