A fair bit, I’d say. I used to be a news journalist. I was addicted to news. Now I find more delight in novels, philosophy, art, nature, music and so on. Keeping up with the news seems to me now to be a stressful, relentless and ultimately pointless task. Not being prescriptive, just my thoughts

Yes it’s a brilliant system. I would just question the need to be “up on everything” in the first place. Unless it’s literally your job. Your (highly entertaining) images of Sisyphus in various guises are surely prescient here?
