Every Republican administration has been racist, what makes this one unique is it doesn't try to hide it behind dog whistle politics

A Brown University student has survived two school shootings.
Two.
Try to imagine it. The first time: the sudden, impossible crack of gunfire echoing through a place that was supposed to be safe.

I have met with the pre op nurses and anesthesiologist. That appointment went well although it was about 80 minutes waiting and 10 minutes meeting. Could have easily been done by phone, I understand many people would be more uneasy about this type of surgery so more reassuring to meet in person.

The nurse was oddly short with me for having to call back but we straightened out the issue. Here I am waiting to have the blood work done. Needless to say the first experience in this very invasive surgery is not filling me with confidence in this system.

May 23, at 10 am I was telephoned by a nurse in somewhat of a panic because I need some of the blood work done today or tomorrow. No mention of this yesterday when speaking with the first nurse. No date for surgery uet either so really strange. Also, I had no blood work req so I had to call back.

On January 26 surgeon told me a couple of months to wait, obviously I am not an emergency. On May 20, I received a call about a meeting with ore op nurse and anesthesiologist on different date.
On May 22 I met nurse, was given instructions and told of blood work. Anesthesiologist is May 27.

Fast forward to January 26, 2025, after several more tests I met with a surgeon. Now, what sucks to hard is I have zero symptoms. No shortness of breath, no chest pain even during stress tests in fact doing blood tests today I rode my bicycle, just pedal power, up and down hills, off road, etc

I am beginning a "journey" the Alberta health care system which I plan to document here as thing progress. About a year ago, through a routine bp test my gp found it to be high. About 10 different test over a few months we discovered cardiovascular disease and the need for a triple bypass.

Alberta separatists are a good thing. Smiths own voters are 60/40 on this issue SO she has to make a decision on a referendum that will split her support right down the middle. A split UCP, the way it was a decade ago is very good for Nenshi.
