I beat Return to Castle Wolfenstein, specifically the Xbox Tides of War port, and that was a brutally mid game gameplay wise. Had some cool levels design, art direction, and hell even the sound design was pretty good, but at its core the shooting just felt awful the entire time.

After 25 hours I have finally finished DOA on the PS1 (got every costume for every character). It was alright but a lot of it boiled down to finding 5-6 moves for each character that were actually viable against the AI. Also the only thing I didn’t get was Raidous extra voice cause wtf is this move

I finally unlocked Ayane in the PS1 port of DOA and my god, Gen-Fu in DOA1 continues to be horrible to use against the enemy AI. He’s just too slow to not be blocked 80% of the time and his lack of mixups (at least ones I could pull of) are infuriating. Tina is actually kind of a badass though.

Just managed to hit a Izuna drop on the PS1 version of Dead or Alive after trying for 30-45 minutes and my thumb feels like I’ve been dragging it around in concrete

Been playing a lot of Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate lately and am realizing the quickest way to my heart in a video game is unblockable cosmetics that I don’t have to purchase.

The lack of content in Firebreak kinda bums me out however at the same time I do find the gameplay oddly addicting and at times peaceful, like there’s something calming to me about clearing an area of all of its sticky notes.

It’s nice to see everyone so excited about the Silent Hill 1 remake, it’s always been my favorite in the series and I always thought it never got enough love, I hope all the first time players are in for one hell of a ride.
