I got impatient and went too fast; ground down to the liners. Oh well, at least I was able to force the pins out and salvage the piece!

Appropriate that my first post here is a WIP on a knife I'm working on. Nicholls' XHP-core san-mai blade with intrepid Damascus shell, blue fiber liners, brass pins, and African Blackwood for the handle.
