My dad had to attend a trade show in the 90s in Orlando. After the one day they bussed them into the adult bar section of Disney world where the goo goo dolls played a private show at the one bar

Oh man you have NO idea. Our gym is called “The Shoebox” because it’s so small, smelly, and has no AC so gets to feeling like 100 degrees. The team, coaches, and parents head to the only place in town after each game. Parents are eager to send coaches drinks while the team sits at the next table lol

The craziest part was the booster club president telling me she can drink 10 Great Lakes Xmas Ales and feel sober enough to function and drive. While she kept yelling at me for ordering the one beer and warning me I’d pay for that. The Youngstown area, not really normal

Help out with the bball team for high school I went to. We tend to go to the bar/restaurant next door after games. I spent 4 hours one night listening to the booster club president chastise me for drinking one off draft. Told me i wouldn’t sober up for days from just 1 lol

One of my closest friends has a job that basically requires that. He hates it and would love to get out but instead keeps getting promoted. I was visiting him and his family, he was working/practicing 3hrs a night for a presentation. Later found out he put that much time in basically daily for 6wks

If it makes you feel better my water supplier requires a written check mailed in and charges an extra $5 a month if you want to use a credit card and has no autopay option, or way to check your account online. Opposite end of the spectrum it feels like

Even with the new app seeming to make sales the focus, the pricing all seems crazy high. Want to try and get into jazz a bit and was looking for a popular Miles Davis record and either somehow none exist that are lower used than even mass retailers charge for new, or new app sucks

Was just trying to add something to my collection. Instead of giving me to usual list of releases to pick from, it just gave me the most popular one and how much it cost. And overall view not nearly as sleek imo
