If Republicans allow the tax credits that help people afford their health care premiums expire, a couple in Ouray would be forced to pay over $1000/ month for health insurance. That is unbelievable.

Coloradans cannot afford that.

Republicans must negotiate with Democrats to preserve these credits.

• Licensing in medicine, psychology, psychiatry, etc., includes an obligation to avoid harmful practices. These associations make clear that conversion therapy is a harmful, discredited practice—not a neutral viewpoint.
• The WHO / PAHO link is a global consensus approach, not just a U.S. debate.

Licensure exists to protect the public, not to give professionals a platform for ideology. Conversion therapy isn’t speech. It’s abuse with a license.

A surgeon can’t amputate a healthy limb for “religious reasons.” A pharmacist can’t sell bleach as medicine. A therapist can’t “treat” someone’s identity.

When you’re licensed as a therapist, doctor, or pilot you agree to follow evidence-based standards. You can’t claim “free speech” to justify harm.

It’s malpractice.
Speech used to manipulate or harm a client isn’t protected; just like a doctor can’t prescribe poison and call it “medical opinion.”
