Freehand cherry pie bag. I like weird bags and never found a Thanksgiving season bag. This works 😄

Diy in-ground composter. My worm composter tower got too hot, and my poor worms died 2 years ago. I think this will work out better so the worms can escape from the heat.

Spring time in California brings wild flowers. My favorite are the silver bush lupine. These are in Knights Ferry park. It's not a very long season but worth the effort to see. Get out there and enjoy nature while we still have it.

Spring is here in my part of California. Get outside and enjoy the sunshine while you can. I adore our native flowers they don't last very long, but they are worth the trip to see. Knights Ferry Regional Park is a delight this time of year.

First successful (not flat or gummy) sourdough loaf. I'm so excited after an entire year of trying. Is it perfect? No, but it was eaten so that's a win.

Finally finished a crochet project. Bear in the big blue house was canceled in 2006 when the person who voiced Luna passed.

Unfortunately, finding vintage toys is expensive if you can even find one. So I made this cute little Tutter mouse for my friends grand baby. #crochet

Went on the last nature hike of the year. Recent rain brought out the fungi.

Decided to try a pecan pie recipe that pre-dates Karo syrup. She's not the prettiest pie but it sure smelled good. Recipe at link.

My sourdough starter made it through its summer hibernation in the fridge. I'm relieved as it had completely dried out.

My Thanksgiving Cactus is starting to bloom. It's always so rewarding to see that I kept them alive yet another year.
