On September 28th, 2021, Antelmo Ramirez died of hyperthermia while working in 96-degree heat at Texas’s Tesla Gigafactory site.

His body temp hit 106.4, and his organs shut down.

But Tesla didn’t report it to Travis County.

4. Create new tax credits to help folks afford a down payment
5. Incentivize environmentally-friendly development strategies/land use policies

Continue pressing your elected officials at the federal, state, and local level to do more about this crisis. Progress starts at the grassroots level.

This is a good question. Oregon hasn't been immune to our national housing crisis. I have a bill to tackle this challenge a number of ways:

1. Increase the supply of affordable housing
2. Reduce homelessness by expanding Housing Choice Vouchers
3. Expand health/nutritional services for the unhoused
