I think Gregor Brown’s mass is less suited to the Row. More ballast when Williamson was added and I think that really helps.

The TMO calling for a ‘DKO’ review when I couldn’t say that Horne even touched that ball, prop carded for tackle from the floor when the replay showed he was on his feet. Seemed a stretch to me.

I will never understand why. Of when people say referees can’t effect games. Arbitrarily taking possession from a team in any breakdown and gifting metres to the opposition is quite the impact.

England have not had to play tough opposition yet. Scotland put Canada through their paces and a few decisions went against them. Australia were well beaten by Canada and certainly spooked England. It’s game on, Scotland’s backs and back row are probably overlooked as to how good they really are.

She is just exemplary as a captain and role model. Manages refs well, always speaks clearly and passionately and such a consistent player.
