one of the reasons bluesky works differently is because early users waged a successful fight to get the devs to prioritize safety features to protect communities at risk

as a result bluesky now has a suite of controls that i think are unmatched on social media

I do think there’s something fun about having to make a site what you want it to be as opposed to arriving at one that’s already sorted out. And I’m excited for the added features that will eventually land here and the way this will look months or a year from now.
