I can’t even find any reference to the race happening at all besides this one, single, article from a US Military newspaper.
Strange, right? An entire race that may have even paid NASCAR championship points that’s almost entirely lost to time?

So this wasn’t a pipe dream, it was less than a fortnight away and he’d flown to Europe for it. There should be some record of this happening, right?
I asked the track and heard nothing, I couldn’t find a way to contact NASCAR. If it paid points that didn’t make it to any official statistics…

I do disagree with you on this, but the idea that you of all people have suddenly become a Rosewater mouthpiece is patently stupid.
Bad faith arguments like theirs are always stupid but god it’s obnoxious when they’re on ‘my side’ of the debate, like we’ve actual reasons they could talk about!
