That is most definitely NOT Talgo’s fail. It is rather that the Danish infrastructure company has not managed to standardise the platform height despite having a standard height for several decades now. Don’t blame Talgo for the Danish lack of foresight.

Unfortunately there was no official celebration at all, this will happen on Monday instead. This was a secret soft launch.

That stub used to continue to the railway ferry

My guesses are based on the running time of today’s EC between Hamburg and Copenhagen, 2.5 hours Padborg - Copenhagen.
From Copenhagen to Malmö it’s around 40 minutes.
I assume the train will not stop at Copenhagen Central, but Copenhagen South to avoid running around and thus saving time.

It seems like an arrival time to Copenhagen at around 7:45, and Malmö at around 8:30

The IC2 works well in Romania because the Danish State Railways gave up ok them to focus on the larger IC4. The IC2 are definitely more reliable now than before (partly due to the more creative maintenance solutions in Romania)

The DSB Talgo introduction date is correct if you are to trust the booking inventory. But they haven't been approved yet, nor has there been an official announcement either

Probably also because of the greatly reduced capacity compared to older wagons and thus higher prices making these new trains less attractive. Especially considering the possibility of competition in the near future.

That's impressive that they are dedicating *more* space for the bistro and not less. You would think they would want to cram as many seats as possible in the trains
