There is a lot of money in the business of right-wing grifting. One just has to sell their integrity and morality. There is nothing to it. It's easy to peddle lies that cater to MAGA and the likes.

He may not outrun death nor will he receive the adulation and respect he yearned for, but he has enriched himself and his family, constantly basking in the spotlight and power. It's a huge win for most villains. It's shameful that the US citizens voted themselves into this reality. "Fool me once..."

I think deep down Trump knows that the reaper is near. He won't be held accountable for any of his corruption and misconduct. So he will grift like there is no tomorrow. Palpatine wins in this universe.

We can follow the money, but it's best to just stop the flow of money to stamp out corruption. Obama was right about Citizens United.

By the way, Citizens United is such an intentional misnomer. It's really Corporations United. Can we at least force them to be honest with the labelling?

It's astonishing how easily nefarious politicians can evade scrutiny by telling the public not to trust their own eyes and lived experience. The corruption and ineffectiveness in all 3 branches of the US government stem from the US Supreme Court's decision to rule in favour of Citizens United.

I don't know about you. If AI is more than just a tool to generate AI slops and propaganda, let's replace every member of the 3 branches of government with their own regional AI. At least it will remove greed from the grand equations. IDK...

It's clearer than ever that the label of public servants is a misnomer in all democracies. The US Supreme Court is a prime example. It was a beautiful idea but in reality, human greed is larger than altruism. The monetary system is a whirlpool that pulls everyone deeper and deeper into despair.

The trap of nihilism is that it can be romanticized but know that its only purpose is to show us that life is fickle and the meaning of life is whatever we want it to be. If we lead life with gratitude and compassion we should end up alright.

Is it just me, or is despair a part of life? I think the most important thing is knowing how to move forward from it and live life to the best of one's ability. Fill life with laughter and memorable relationships.
