When I met my new doctor, I asked about the measles vaccine. As children, our parents made sure the 5 of us were fully vaccinated. As an adult, I have taken every adult immunization recommended, even boosters when our grandson was born. I am proud to do my part for herd immunity.

We called the woman who lived next to our grandmother "aunt". She wasn't related to us. We also called our other grandmother's 2nd husband Grandpa. It's a respect thing.
