Arsenal needed that win against Girona. Had we finished 5th or 6th in the table then we would be facing one of Real Marid, Bayern or Man City in the last 16. Have a kinder fixture now on paper but the games still need to be played so will be a tough assignment no matter who we get.

Started Ait Nouri, -2 on the pitch and Hall 15 on the bench. Brutal swing. Thought they'd both concede and the worst that could happen would be a 4-5 point variance!

Still good overall and definitely not the worst week for a red arrow with so much rotation. Was always on Palmer (C), had never given Salah too much consideration so can't complain too much. Gameweek just proves Salah is fixture proof.

Sold Wood for Jackson this week. Odds suggest 50% chance that Chelsea score 2 or more goals, so whilst Wood has done well for my team it's time go with a player who has a higher ceiling for points over the coming gameweeks. #Fpl

A very good GW13 and a haul of 95 points. Strand Larsen and Wood making the difference. Also the dumping of Haaland and getting in Saka paying off.

Arsenal really need to win these next 2 league games to re-ignite our season. With Wood benched for Forest today and Saka and Odegaard starting I'm more confident on a win today now.

Will head down to the local pool tonight for a swim. More of a winter thing for me really, get a bit of exercise in when it's cold and dark out and there is no football on.
