Benny’s Brown Bag is one of the best sandwich shops in Peekskill and they dressed up as Bennyhana for Halloween.

They did a special menu of spring rolls and fried rice. It was delicious.

Still amazing, now in Croton-on-Hudson. Sundogs are incredible. So is the tangent arc. And the circumzenithal is still there.

I’m making plum jam! Our new plum tree made one plum this year and we ate it and it was delicious. Luckily our local produce market had black plums (not as delicious as Santa Rosa but still tasty) on sale.

I love shop cats. Yesterday I got to say hi to Woody, the lumberyard cat.

I made jam! A little over three and a half pints of blood orange marmalade. First jam in the new house.
