Discover. One of the first "Buddy" films. There is no way to comprehend seeing this in a first run cinema in 1969 when you were 14 years old,(and it wouldn't be on television for another 3 years at least) if you were born in the 21st century. Different times, hell, the fall will probably kill you 😜

My little brother's middle initial was "S", no name, and when he was old enough to ask about it in the early '60's my Dad said it was for "Sturdly" which he may have gotten from Mad 😜

Born in Chicago 2 years after this engine, I remember them from my youth. Both sets of Grandparents lived on the line, one in Elmhurst, IL, and the other in William's Bay, WI at the end of the line, roundhouse and all. Terrific Modelmaking! 👍

I take no credit for the Barbie Doll, this RR Xing is almost half a mile from the nearest house and she just appeared there around a year ago. I added the 3d printed Butterfly and green pushpin 7 or 8 months ago and she has held bouquets of tiny wildflowers and other stuff in the past.
