I hope he isn't the nominee. He's loud. Progressive candidates need to be loud right now.

Pritzker and Newsom are making themselves frontrunners. They are taking on the administration. Do I want better candidates? Sure. Can I create them? Can I push a progressive to confront authoritarianism credibly and with strength/results? That seems not to be a skill I have.

We're all headed under the bus now... I campaigned hard for a strong progressive last time. And then voted to save democracy. I don't like Newsom. I also don't want to live in a country run by Stephen Miller.

If the next presidential election is between Gavin Newsom and Donald Trump or JD Vance, are you sitting it out? I'm not a Newsom supporter, just someone who watched a lot of people sit out the last election and now instead of an imperfect president, we're facing fascism.

Please tell me what you're going to do with them. I have an overabundance of small, beautiful, blindingly hot sugar Rush blush peppers.

I donate, vote Blue, write letters to the newspaper, harass my political reps, and generally try not to be an ass.
