The most dangerous are those who excuse themselves from being perfect in private, but publicly attempt to be seen as perfect. The best is to be human and model being a human just trying to be better.

This middle American “virtue through labor” attitude isn’t a good argument.
Theft of other’s labor is wrong. If we had a fully automated world where no one went hungry or was homeless, great! But as it stands, these systems were built without compensation off the work of those who they compete with.

It’s a tactic. If we accept small absurdities they can start pushing to larger absurdities, until we accept the big lies. But if we fight the meaningless absurdities and the big absurdities, they can point at the challenge of the small as “proof” we aren’t fighting in good faith.

These are actually pretty humanizing irritations and outbursts. Eat the rich and all that, but they are just human.

If this wasn’t given special attention by the NYPD and Feds, we’d all go “yeah, I get why, but still bad”. But when the two-tiered justice system willingly plays into the show, they illustrate why we must resist.

I played in a campaign for maybe 3 months before I launched my own game. Do you understand the basics? Do you have a story to tell? You can figure out the rest on the fly. (The story can be small, they grow with the players)
