With competitive 40k wrapped up for the year attention has turned to trying out the Grotmas detachments. Really like the look of the new GK one and it played well on the table. See lots of rerolls in my future!

Took these guys to my first 40k event at the weekend - a 4 man teams event. Had a great time, learned a lot and the team went 3-1-1 for a 5th place finish. Forgot how absolutely wiped I get after wargaming events though, disturbed sleep from a sick kid didn't help!

Ok I'm putting this guy down. I think the balance is off on the front but going back and forth on trying to improve the contrast isn't improving it by much.

Round 5 of the league and the Zons roll on. New chorfs were pretty underwhelming and never really laid a glove on the Zons. Finish stage 1 of the league on a 4-0 record

Exalted Sorceror on Disc is finished. Just Ahriman left as a must paint before next weekend and if I have time - a repaint of some of the eBay rescue Tzaangors

League Amazon's improve to 3-0 following a defeat of some Necro who spaffed the pickup on the LoS turn 1 and didn't see the ball again until late in the second half. Zons were bulletproof throughout.

WARNING!!! Toolstation have hired an external company to police parking at Firestorm. All car parking on the right hand side of the drainage that separates the property is being monitored. Please pay close attention to signage when parking in future.
