Aircraft 1/72 scale plastic modeler, aircraft photographer, self proclaimed aviation expert, occasional beach goer.
Also the aircraft has to be more economical and easier to operate than legacy aircraft. They mostly forget that in their haste towards electric and hybrid propulsion.

The aircraft was over 6 tons, carried only 9 pax, had an endurance of only about an hour and could only do 220 knots. And far from certification. The original prototype burned out due to a battery fire. The second prototype did a single 8 minute flight a few years ago. Can't beat a Piper Chieftain.

Nav lights on. Seems odd that a sinister drone up to no good would have nav lights on.

Seems unlikely he died in a plane crash. The only evidence is a FR24 track of an elderly IL76 descending towards the ground. Nothing to say he was even on the plane. And no physical evidence of a crash.
