Two original albums “Divorce” and “Circulation” were self published iirc under the name JPNSGRLS, the name itself paying homage to Mass of the Fermenting Dregs specifically, and the wider Japanese girl band punk/metal scene generally. I’d really recommend giving those two albums a listen some time.

Sooooo, this album is a crazy important foundational part of my music taste, and it also jumpstarted a US semi-tribute band that would eventually become Hotel Mira. You can still track down the two albums directly inspired by Mass of the Fermenting Dregs some places where you find Hotel Mira’s music
