Should the economy be regulated by a democratic society to ensure that it creates opportunity and benefit for everyone? Or should it be a plaything for approximately a dozen of the world's most odious assholes? Who knows

They should make more jobs for people who want to stop the harms of technology instead of jobs for causing them

As someone who is presently out of work and trying not to resign to the idea that I might have to go back to working in tech (given that my previous career pivot didn't go as expected), it's kind of distressing, but I guess on the flip side it's not like staying in tech would work out either
