This is all they know how to do. And it’s probably comforting doing busywork because they are either too scared or too out of their depth to confront what’s in front of them. The consultants whispering in their ears and raking in fees tell them not to take risks. But those people are useless too.

Most members of the public don’t realize that Congress can change nearly everything about the structure and composition of the judiciary. Exceptions include the Supreme Court’s original jurisdiction and the position of Chief Justice of the United States.

Not sure what he thinks he can do. The US is currently carrying out airstrikes on ISIS positions in Syria, according to Reuters.

It would be on brand for Trump to whip up the Iranians out on the street, then do nothing and leave them to face the guns.
