a couple of years back I looked at the data and one in four PIP applicants with literal amputations had their application refused by the DWP

but yeah this benefit is too easy to claim obv

It definitely eases pressure on families but schools running deficits while struggling to employ sufficient special needs assistants are going to need a bigger budget. The government is working on a plan to solve that problem with no new money but it's not possible

Yes, this is absolutely it. I'm in education and so many schools - for example - are struggling in despair as they attempt to meet children's needs in a state of financial and physical exhaustion. The Economist analysis is in some senses correct but woefully out of touch with years of damage
