From some other googling people also seem to think newer figures are less prone to the issue, based on changes in the way figures are produced over the years.

Kyoto Xanadu has me pretty excited! I really liked the first one, and them making it not a direct sequel has me more intrigued!

Same for me with the Melia figure. I just don't have any space to put it right now! Although opening the box has been on my to do list, since I heard that the plastic can get sticky if its sealed up too long.

I don't follow a huge amount of people, so from my perspective it's more like: Hey that cake I enjoyed yesterday is back!

It's such a great trope! Both funny, but also love how it shows characters thinking about their sexuality. I like the example from Girlfriends where someone later wrote a doujin with the logical consequence of this

Waver & Iskander are so good! I love that every other bit of Fate media I've seen strongly supports him never getting over falling in love with Iskander. Plus there's fanfic I've seen that expands on the idea of his students figuring it out. It's tragic, but I dig it.

I didn't save any of the posts at the time, but I do remember that the point of view seemed pretty alien to me. But hearing people talk about the motivations was pretty interesting. Like I got the impression a lot of yumes end up more engrossed with less characters more deeply

But after seeing some posts from the perspectives of yumes a few years ago I feel I understand their pov a bit better now. It was also interesting to see a post showing just how many people yumeship vs the kind of shipping I'm more familiar with.

Yumeshipping was quite opaque to me because its really opposed to how I engage with media. I'm also much more the type to want to see characters I adore being together with other characters.
