In no way a rebuttal to your video but in the theme of going "above and beyond", here's the LED tail light board I made for my vintage moped.
The stock AC magneto struggled to illuminate the 6V lamp at idle so this was game-changing. It flickers a little at idle but is still far brighter.

Here's a cutaway of the key bed. The part you're worried about is #14 and #19 - the PCB assembly and rubber key switch strip. Any contamination between the two will cause problems. Contamination ON the PCB can also cause problems later on.
