I believe it’s crucial to keep choosing a future that we can say is better than the past.
We must continue to make the effort to think for ourselves and make decisions we believe are right.
It’s not an easy path. But I say this as a reminder to myself. (4/4)

But I find it terrifying to realize that I likely cross paths every day with people who voted for that party.
It’s obvious, of course, that society is full of people whose values are very different from my own—but facing that reality still unsettles me. (2/4)
