In Europe lynx are not dangerous at all to humans. For perspective we did however have over 30,000 dog attacks in UK 2024. It is time for a legal, community and science led reintroduction of lynx.

This is the veteran Rowan tree that gives its name to our Coill na Luise reserve in the Wicklow mountains. Not rooted in soil, but growing on top of a dry stone wall at over 1,000 feet above sea level, it must have taken centuries to reach this size, in those growing conditions.
