I can 100% understand that sentiment, and I fully expect I'll feel the same after some additional time with this latest release. Aes deserves my full attention, and with everything going on in the Real World right now, I'm not able to devote that to Mess.

He's never publicly acknowledged AFAIK, but it's hard not to see similarities between the two. Not just the dream travel aspect but some of the shots in Inception feel directly lifted from Paprika. It's not obvious plagiarism ala Aronofsky's Black Swan and Perfect Blue, but more *heavily* inspired.
