Did you know that provisions in the CARES Act made it possible to buy certain over the counter health care related items with your HSA?
Here’s a partial list:
-Cold, allergy, sinus and flu medicine
-Feminine care items
-Pain relievers and anti inflammatory
-Digestive aids
-certain baby supplies

Brandon means well but this is a simplification of the retirement system. Fidelity is one of 50+ 401k providers and there are 400+ payroll providers.
Barely half of American employers have access to a 401k. That will increase but will not be anywhere near universal save a government mandate.

Paylocity does payroll, employee scheduling, W2. There's also Paycom and Homebase. Paylocity partners with Fidelity to offer 401K plans. It will not be long until 401Ks will be almost universal and everyone will realize the high returns to help us get ahead. www.paylocity.com/resources/re...

Plan advisors: Knowing obscure industry provisions can spark curiosity from clients and get your foot in the door for that first meeting.
Example: Did you know there is a provision in SECURE 2 that gives employers a tax credit for military spouses who participate in a 401k?
