Worth noting: Marc Andreessen, after whom half of Andreessen Horowitz is named, sits on Meta’s board of directors. Doublespeed’s business would clearly violate Meta’s policy on “authentic identity representation.”

As @emanuelmaiberg.bsky.social reported back in October, Doublespeed raised $1 million from a16z. Doublespeed uses generative AI to flood socials with accounts and posts to promote certain products on behalf of its clients. So-called “click farms” often use hundreds of phones to fake engagement.

One of the craziest things I've seen in a hack: the hacker took full control of the phone farm. He was able to access phone cameras and take pictures of the phone farm itself

So now, the Discord channel has become some sort of a ghost town, members tell 404 Media.
