here's one that i found right now

sorry, my internet is dying but i definitely remember seeing others

there was one guy from the team with like a blue pfp that was clowned on a while back for trying to convince people that ai is the future, couldn't find them on the blocklist for some reason

well i guess a lot of people omit creating "rust-toolchain.toml" then. what's weirder is that the error i'm getting directly say what was expected, and yet still couldn't search rustup for the toolchain

the download count on my newgrounds song is unusually high. i rarely pay attention to the stats, but this makes me slightly concerned.

don't get me wrong, i'd love for people to download my stuff if they like it, the number just seems slightly too large to make sense

maybe i'm just paranoid

so what happened is that i wanted to create a very large array on the stack

moving the array declaration outside function body no longer causes any issues, since array lives on BSS then.

i just never had this happen to me lol

anyway moral is: use dynamic arrays and you'll go viral on twitter

this has been very enlightening, thank you!

the whole terminology around atproto is just so confusing. firehose, relay, pds, repo..

most users are still at whim of bluesky (the company), though, right? because that's who hosts majority of PDSes at the moment..
August 22, 2025 at 12:28 PM
i think i'm starting to get it

so if i someone wanted to make a custom bluesky relay, then the bluesky moderation will only be able to moderate on their own bsky.network relay

then the users will just have to configure their PDSes so that their firehoses also connect to my custom relay?
August 22, 2025 at 11:39 AM
here's the template, but in case bsky compresses it, here's also the image itself: transfer.it/t/dMUqOQlh2DwY
August 21, 2025 at 8:47 AM
i spent way too long on this stupid thing
turns out not having ratios be documented anywhere is annoying as hell. thanks bluesky

i'll attach template lower

August 9, 2025 at 8:55 PM
for a second i thought you meant this game and got very confused
August 9, 2025 at 2:27 AM
that's a good point, but it's a lot easier to ignore text adverts, at least for me
also i think it'll be funnier..
also it will use up less traffic!!

this here is just 393 bytes, compared to 400kb of the identical contents

> "README"
> read it
> first thing in it is an ad for AI crap
> "oh.. okay"

look i'm obviously all in for funding open source projects, but putting the ad at the very top of an IMPORTANT DOCUMENT is just scummy, especially when it's for something as stupid as an "AI-powered terminal"

the thing is, all FOSS is volunteer work and is usually done completely for free

Krita (and KDE as a whole) mostly lives off donations

you want changes? - implement them yourself.
don't want to/can't implement them yourself? - support development and ask for these changes *nicely*
