I'm pumped for this work because usernames are also required for a leaderboard, which is coming veryyyy sooon!

To start I'm just generating temporary usernames upon account creation. e.g. transparent123. But very soon you'll be able to customize your username, and add links to your profile, so people can find you elsewhere on the internet.

I also updated the selection popover with an expandable mode where you can see the plot description and artist username.

Once selected it enables moving around the canvas with arrow keys too.
