What's that? Can't see the paper? Well here you go.

This is the last of this wrapping paper and I can't believe I haven't done this before.

Look at this! I want to make dozens of them in different colours and give them to everyone I know (as if I have time for that). #sewing #quilting #vintage

Something about the aesthetic of the mid/late 1970s (basically when I was a baby) is just delicious to me. Got this at a used book store yesterday for the cover project alone, though I'd do it in different colours. But the whole book is full of gems. #sewing #quilting #vintage

One of my cats has the most perfect low, truck engine brakes-style warning growl and there are times I wish I had the same skill.

Shot at the height of sweet pea madness by my partner shortly before our city experienced a weeks-long heatwave/drought. These #flowers were hit pretty hard; many vines didn't survive. But some pulled through and I'm still getting pretty but slightly raggedy bunches every few days. #bloomscrolling

More garden treasures! Here is my latest Goth-ish arrangement. And what are those blooms in the foreground? See the alt text. #bloomscrolling #flowers #gardening

Poor Olivia came out of the washroom with litter on her face again. My youngest compared it to having toilet paper trailing from your shoe. #cats #catsofbluesky

I did dust her off after the picture was taken.

These are seashell cosmos, named for the unusual petal shape. They're so cute, but the petals are very fragile and drop easily. #flowers #bloomscrolling #gardening

Another dark palette bouquet! New additions include a sprig of buddleia (I know, please don't yell! It doesn't spread as easily this far north and I'm determined to keep it small and it's surrounded by tons of natives) and dark purple salvia. #flowers #gardening #bloomscrolling

Apricot sweet peas are relatively rare, and I ordered these seeds from the UK. Sadly, only one grew into a plant, and not an especially big one. But my goodness does it produce the most beautifully coloured #flowers . #bloomscrolling #gardening

Also beginning to play with colours from my dark, "goth-lite" garden. #bloomscrolling #flowers #gardening

We have officially reached the point where I need to have a separate vessel for only sweet peas. Glorious. #bloomscrolling #flowers #gardening

More sweet peas every day... #bloomscrolling #flowers #gardening

@garybrannan.bsky.social I feel compelled to share that a tiny pottery vase in one of my miniature projects contains all the cat whiskers I collect around my house.(you're probably really sick of being corrected about that, I'm sorry).

This, from yesterday. And today, the years first few sweet peas (not pictured). The scent is worth all the trouble every year. #gardening #bloomscrolling #flowers

Then June 28, throwing in new arrivals. #flowers #gardening #bloomscrolling

From June 27. Just one species of flower for this one!

Got a bit of a backlog on flower photos! From June 16. #bloomscrolling

I promised myself that this year I would take more pictures of the flowers I pick from my garden over the course of the growing season. Here is the first arrangement of the year, with peonies, Siberian iris, pansies, and some interesting cosmos varieties I grew from seed. #bloomscrolling

I started calling Tasha Squeedlee Dee - it came from @obviousplant Jazz Crabs. I have no idea why, it just seems to fit.

I carefully folded, pressed, pinned, waited for the spray starch to dry, and sewed a quarter of the bottom band to this Halfmoon Atelier La Brea tee. Arrrgh! Is it super-obvious, or am I fretting over something most people won't even notice? I don't want to undo the seam; it's overlocked. #sewing
