Robert Fellmeth (aka Bob) founded the Children's Advocacy Institute in 1989. In 2014, he was pivotal in the establishment of Partnership for America's Children. Over the past forty years, Bob has taught around 1,300 law students – many of whom have gone on to become leading child advocates.

At #PartnershipRetreat2025, longtime colleague Kate Breslin honored Allison Lake with the presentation of the 2025 Florette Angel Memorial Child Advocacy Award. Allison’s legacy includes passage of New York’s Raise the Age law, ensuring youth under 18 aren't prosecuted as adults.
