He reminds me of what I once read it's like to have a conversation with a sociopath - completely self-absorbed, only talk about themselves, constantly requiring validation, and with no awareness of, or interest in, your reaction to it.

I don't think he fooled them - they were voting for the racism and rage, not the promises about the economy.

We need to vote out every single incumbent, and start fresh with people who know their job is on the line every day they're in office.

One year later what have YOU actually done? Are you fired up, yelling at your colleagues, using every tool in the kit to force them to bring the situation under control?

Or do you think it's just business as usual as long as you can hold onto your own personal power?

I don't think he's suckered Trump - I think they've agreed to divide the world between them.

I mean - that's nice and everything. But. Voting no is not enough - what have you done to drive others to vote no? What pressure are you applying to force people who want to vote yes to change their minds?

I'm sure you really paid attention and are all fired up to start doing your job, pushing so hard to drive change that nobody can resist you.

Or, you know, post about it on social media, have a glass of wine, and take a nice nappy.

Here's a thought - instead of complaining about it on social media, get mad, get energized, start pushing your colleagues into action by doing whatever it takes.

You have very little time to become a hero, or you better start looking for a new job.

That's right, "they" should. And if "they" don't, a lot of "them" will be looking for new jobs next year.

I think they're biding their time while they form new partnerships.

Trump might get impeached again, but he'll never be removed from office - you'd need 67 Senators to vote for it, and that's just not going to happen. Trump could nuke Massachusetts and you wouldn't have 20 Republicans turn on him

Now some stupid democratic representative is going to push a bill making it so he can't, and act like they saved us from Trump.

Vote out every incumbent candidate - bring in an entire new generation of politicians and let their first lesson be "Do your job, or lose your job."
