Most of my life I didn’t do half the things I wanted because I couldn’t make them as good as I thought they had to be. One of the joys of growing older and embracing all that I am, has been freeing myself from this slowly. Now you throw this thought into the mix and it’s so freeing!

Another stunning swim, 3.20 in the afternoon looking north west from Loch Eil. So good to catch the light as we get closer to the solstice, swimming year round has helped me so much with the dark mostly dreich winters.

Beautiful first proper chilly swim of the season. I crave the wintery cold swims in the summer, but I’m always apprehensive on my first one of the year! Looking east to Ben Nevis and west down Loch Eil at 10 to 4 this afternoon, wintery afternoon light at its best
