As darkness fell and both sides went into night regime, Freedonia claimed victory due to sinking Cynical and severely damaging two other ships, Magenta and Clavicle.
I agree, but not a great victory by a long shot.
It was a fun game and I'm so happy I could finally play.

Hi everyone,

Finally the Roland D.II fighter. Who wouldn't want to fly a fighter where the pilot couldn't clear machine gun jams? Plenty of people it seems.

About the Chinese ship names. OMG, that was horrible trying to make out what was what! The same ship can have 3 or 4 names, what a nightmare!😱
I went with Giles, as that's what was used in contemporary sources and in Conways.

Freedonia sent all of Sylvania's ships to the bottom with the loss of a single ship, Outsider, from a magazine explosion that damaged one enemy and one friendly ship nearby.
On paper it was a close match but poor dice rolling doomed Sylvania.
It was a very nice time!
