By chance, I’ve ended up in the same area of town on Halloween again. I’m clutching all of my hand knits close to make sure none go astray this time.

I really enjoyed this write up, thanks for sharing! I attended the tea festival for the first time this year and was surprised to find so many local tea sellers. I was only really familiar with Miro and Friday Afternoon.

Oh, and you’ll want to do the graft, or the first row knitting down in the new color, in stockinette and not in rib. If you change the knitting direction (easiest, I think), your first row will be off by half a stitch.

The surgery should be pretty straightforward. Just know that the cuff cast on won’t unravel easily. You’ll have to cut the cast on in several places and pick out the pieces or painstakingly undo one stitch at a time.
