I don't know who needs to hear this, but transgender people are allowed to exist. What I find offensive is people "investigating" other people's genitals. That's actually disgusting.

This bit of writing is more abstract than I usually do, but I do kind of like it. A little more folktale-esque. About the amalgamation of spirits in one spot over many years as creatures pass on, and what happens when a soul joins outside of the natural cycle of life.

@maryrobinette.bsky.social - literally just created an account because I'm so grateful to this person and her part in my writing journey. Met her while volunteering at the Tucson Festival of Books and now had a serendipitous moment where I got to cite her for my Master's in Creative Writing.
