Our 192nd donation has gone to help an Afghan teenager, now living in Sheffield, in his attempts to reunite with the 2 surviving members of his family. The full story is in the thread 👇- we are pleased to give £500 towards the costs involved in the complex journey to reunite these children.

With donation 191 we sent £140 to help a single mother, who lives in Sheffield with a young child. She really needs financial support from a family reunion solicitor to help her appeal her application to get her older son to the UK.

Since starting in Sept 2019 we have given over £80k to 190 recipients - ranging from help with bills; school uniform; food shops; support for rehomed DV survivors; new cookers, carpets, beds for families; help for refugees and asylum seekers. All donations can be found at 500together.blogspot.com
