The unless we have a supermajority. That’s the only way. 67 seats in the senate and 290 in the house, that’s the only way to make anything real happen. 2/3rds of both chambers to override vetos. If you just want to impeach AND convict then 67 + 218.

Until liberal leadership goes on the offensive nothing will get better. The lower classes that make up a majority of the maga movement need to be deprogrammed and that won’t happen easily if it at all.

It’s actually quite easy to understand. For two decades the right has been engaged in neurolinguistic warfare against liberalism. They also need to disconnect America from the SWIFT system, and either force the renaming of or the wholesale seizure of all Trump properties in Europe.

That was the whole reason it became a thing in the first place. Plus I’m not sure as a society we want to open up yet another stream of revenue for the asshats in the insurance industry.

I kinda agree, but we need something in between qualified immunity and open season. It’s expensive to defend yourself court. Let’s keep in mind there are lots of people out there (like trump) who will happily use the justice system as a cudgel. /1

Sounds like something you’re just floating to me. I prefer to work in the here and now. There’s plenty wrong with the US in there and now we should be concerned with. We look at history in attempt to not repeat it (or at least I do), not to play some never ending blame game. /2

I love at least half of the people of this country and the core principles on which it was founded and I don’t want to see us suffer these consequences but… Lessons not learned in blood are easily forgotten.

There should be mandatory psychological testing done on people at the age of 18. There are some jobs people with those traits should just be barred from. We wouldn’t let a blind person operate heavy machinery. Why are we allowing people with no empathy to lead.

This is why I rally and rail against inheritance and for executive salary caps alongside high rates of taxation on the uber wealthy.
