The original post is an acknowledgement of the Bush-Cheney policies on torture...which I do not condone in any way. It was merely a funny way to call attention to that while "claiming" to honor Cheney is some small way. And it was clever and funny as Hell.

On a trip to Saint-Malo, France last week, my daughter caught this iPhone shot of the joy and chaos of a group of kitesurfers enjoying a blustery afternoon off of Plage de Rochebonne.

From a 2017 visit to Turkmenistan: the Darvaza Crater, some "locals" in the Karakum desert, the desert, and a shot from Kunya-Urgench. (The trip was from Ashgabat to Kunya-Urgench / Daşoguz, and back). A beautiful country with some, um, "idiosyncrasies."
