I would also check browser extensions, this makes cross-origin requests to the bluesky api directly so there might be an extension interfering with that

Your acc is working for me. I'd double check the spelling of the handle? I know sometimes mistyping a handle can cause it to hang there. If it's spelled correctly it might just be an issue with whatever browser you're using not making requests properly.

Answers to some common questions:
1. "Google" means both Chrome and Android, and "Apple" means both Safari and iOS.
2. If you see a single "Unidentified" and don't remember using a third-party app, you likely set your profile picture before image compression was added.

not directly (except for google, who does put "Google Inc" inside images), but each vendor writes JPGs slightly differently so you can find differences between them and use that to figure out which browser is being used

oh, they removed did-only login from DDZ. updated the gist with the ABC code, you need an app password to login now.

verifying handles on the PDS is worse than just this, since with a bug that used to exist, you could do this to arbitrary handles (although they'd show up as handle.invalid in some places).
