I don't even know what to do with the news any longer. It's increasingly hard to want to turn on the TV or go to a news site.

4 days later, @virginmediatv.bsky.social still don’t have a booking for us that their outsourcer promised us last week. After our electrician had to do work the outsourcer said wasn’t possible. Shocking, hopeless company

I’m very sure margins have been improved. Sick cover is less problematic. Wastage and stock predictability are through the roof. But everything that made it a good experience has been eliminated. There is no crock of gold at the end of the efficiency rainbow. There isn’t a crock of anything. (3/3)

A system of infinitely superior efficiency, far less chaos. It’s predictable, reliable, repeatable. Seems a LOT less humans are involved, which was presumably the point. What’s missing? The humans, and frankly, the chaos. What makes any Irish experience truly Irish - the people, the buzz. (2/3)

The subject line drives me absolutely berserk. And you can’t customise the UI nearly as much as I would like either. But the search inefficiently and difficulty in navigating threaded conversations (which may be down to UI rigidity) is very challenging.

I have a strange relationship with Proton. I use it exclusively apart from a burner gmail account. I love the fact that @proton.me is privacy first and allegedly inside a mountain in Switzerland (I may have made that up). But the inability of the search to find things that aren’t explicit in (1/2)
