It’s been a few years, so I don’t really remember. But Raycast feels very fast to me now.

I made the switch a few years ago. I had used Alfred (+PowerPack) for several versions. I used Alfred mostly as an app launcher, plus a few other features. Raycast's free plan did everything I needed, and then some. I just recently switched to a paid plan, and am still learning what all it can do.
